Based on impulse radio ultra wide band (IR-UWB) technology, the measuring and positioning of moving array shape are discussed. Because there are no conditions of fixed receivers and clock synchronization in real outdoor or field surroundings, only choice is unusual asynchronous measurement method, therefore, the scheme of measuring and processing must be changed, though the current TOA (Time Of Arrival) method is used.
