In this article the radiation characteristics of a dipole antenna on grounded composite ferrite structures are studied using the generalized spectral-domain-exponential-matrix technique. Numerical results are presented to show the effects of internal dc magnetic bias fields, operating frequency, geometrical sizes, and losses of substrates on the radiation pattern and scanning characteristics of dipole antenna.
